Kellie was fortunate to have the privilege of
being raised in a Christian Home, with lots of
love and support. She began singing gospel music
at a very early age, and her love for singing
only grew. She sang in local churches and
regional events every chance she got, and of
course her home church.
Church was a big part of Kellie’s life, but as
she grew up, she became more involved with
friends and activities outside the church, as so
many of us do. Kellie said, “sometimes church
was put on the back burner, for more exciting
things, or so I thought. I was making decisions
on my on, without any discussion with God. I
soon learned this only leads to heart ache.” It
was not until she was a young adult tat she
realized something was missing. Things of this
World were not satisfying the void. Through
prayer and scripture, God revealed to Kellie
that salvation was missing. She asked God to
forgive her sins, and come into her heart.
Kellie said, “I received a new set of eyes. I
could see the mistakes of my past, and see that
God had better things in store for me.”
In 2000, through prayer and discussions with her
family, Kellie committed herself to sharing
God’s Word through a music ministry. Kellie
wants to let others know what God can do for
them, and just maybe keep some young person from
making some of the mistakes she made growing up.
Combining her love for Jesus, and her love of
music, she felt the Lord calling her in this
direction.
In early 2001, Kellie and her family began work
on her first CD, and the beginnings of a
Christian music ministry. In January 2002, she
released her first CD entitled, “Every Voice.”
Since, Kellie has been blessed to be able to
travel to many different churches and events
sharing God’s Gift of Salvation, and Unrelenting
Love.
Christian Radio has helped to spread Kellie’s
Ministry, with airplay and national charting. In
December of 2003, Kellie received a call from
Bill Gaither, inviting her to begin performing
select dates with the Gaither Homecoming Tour.
In February 2004, Kellie began performing dates
with Homecoming Tour. In 2004, she also released
her second CD, entitled, “On My Way.” The next
few years Kellie continued sharing at churches,
Christian events, and on the Gaither Tour. She
has also appeared in multiple Gaither Homecoming
Videos. New doors were starting to open.
In 2006, just as these doors were starting to
open, Kellie had to start slowing down, to spend
more time dealing with family matters and health
concerns. With three kids, and two being
teenaged daughters, there was a lot going on
that demanded extra attention. Kellie was also
going through some health problems herself. By
the beginning of 2007, she and her family had to
take some time off from full time ministry to
devote the proper time to these matters.
With two daughters graduated, a son ready to get
going again, and health problems under control,
Kellie and her family are hitting the road again
in full time ministry.
Kellie is so thankful to God for all of his
blessings on her life and ministry. Kellie
states, “There have been many trials and tough
times along the way, when I did not know what
the outcome was going to be, but God knew. He is
in control of everything. It might not happen
the way I think it should, or the moment I want
it to happen, but it happens how and when God
sees best. I pray everyday for his continued
guidance and blessings, and I know he will see
me through the valleys in life.”
A special thanks to all who have supported this
ministry. This ministry could not happen without
you. Please keep Kellie and the ministry in your
prayers.
You can do all things through Christ who
strengthens you.
